territory in Spain, and its capital is Santiago de Compostela. It is a land

speaking of Santiago de Compostela Cathedral. Is has been described as an

Romanic works of art in Spain and the finish line of the Way of St. James.
There are four squares that surround the Santiago
de Compostela Cathedral and each one is worth the visit. The names of these
squares are: Obradoiro Square, Acibehería Square, A Quintana Square and Praterías
Square.
Another place of interest is the Alameda Park:
one of the numerous public parks in the city, and without doubt, the most
centric one. It is placed in the middle of the way between the new and the old
area, and it is the favourite place for the inhabitants of the city to go
jogging or to walk along.

night in Santiago de Compostela, you will find a huge number of possibilities.
In this city, it is very common to go out any night of the week, be it a Monday
or a Sunday to drink a glass of wine with your friends. Besides, the city is

Santiago de Compostela is located in the northwest of Spain. It is a city with a very special charm, its relevance in Europe comes from the ninth century with the discovery of the Apostle Santiago's tomb, making that this area been become into a key point of pilgrimage and into an exceptional tourist center.
In Santiago de Compostela are mixed the religious mysticism and the ancient history along with a few modern airs that makes not beeing rooted in its past, but they get exalt it. Is a city with class, where when we talk about culture we can find a large selection of museums to suit all tastes.
The main piece to visit is the great romanesque Cathedral dedicated to the Apostle, located in the historic center where you can contemplate its extraordinary beauty; in front of its main facade we find the Plaza del Obradoiro where there use to be many events throughout the year. In this same square we can see the Parador Nacional of the Catholic Kings, was initially built as a hospital but now is a renowned and pretigious hotel due to the age of the building and its luxurious nature.
The city of Santiago de Compostela is located in the center-west of Galicia, not far from the Atlantic Ocean, hence its climate is oceanic which consists of moderate temperatures and rainfall during much part of the year, and that is its beauty, the smell of rain makes to this city something characteristic and very special.
If we talk about food, there are some streets which are dedicated to accommodate dozens of bars and restaurants where you will find the best gastronomic variety of the Atlantic ocean and the north of Spain like: chorizos , variety of cheeses, huge and tasty slices of tender beef and a large selection of fresh local seafood.
Finally, we have to mention that Santiago, apart from being the capital of Galicia, is considered as a World Heritage Site and a Holy City filled with magic.
